Terms & Condions of sale.
All our products come to you with a full 12 months warranty from date of shipping/collection, this is a back to base warranty this means the item must be returned back to ourselves or the manufacture
subject to item for any warranty service.
DELIVERY AT THE DOOR.
If upon delivery you feel the item maybe damaged or if you feel the outer box is damaged please sign as 'UN-CHECKED' or 'BOX DAMAGED' and NOT your name otherwise in the eyes of the courier company you have accepted the goods are in satisfactory condition and this makes it impossible for us to make a claim, please this helps us greatly, please advise anyone who maybe signing on your behalf.
Any damaged in transit items must be notified within 48 hours from signsture as after this time we can not make any claims against the courier company so please check your goods upon delivery, please remember statement above regarding signature at the door.
ANY returns must be authorized first, please do not just return items as this will slow your refund down considerably, for returns service email us at; sales@nic-olanostalgia.co.uk
7 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD D.S.R.
The buyer/customer has a 7 DAY D.S.R cool off period from the day after delivery in which you may return the item for a full refund but PLEASE NOTE the return POSTAGE FEE'S are the customers sole responsibility and not refundable, the item MUST be returned in an un-used re-saleable condition as delivered and MUST be in its original packing including any remote controllers’ & instruction manuals ect, any missing parts/packing may be deducted from refund due, also if any item is returned for a refund outside the 7 day returns period (not including faulty goods) then any refund will only be given at our discretion plus a 26% restocking and handling fee may apply at our discretion to the items original value, all returns under the DSR 7 day cool off period must be received by us within a total of 14 days after the day of receipt so you have 7 days to advise us of the intended return and 7 days to get the goods back to us, if we sign for any item after 14 days from the original day of receipt a restocking fee may apply, items must be returned by secure carriage again please remember we do not refund any return postage for any items returned under the 7 day cool off period unless faulty and under warranty.
please note: Some refunds can take upto 30 days.
PLEASE remember items that are advised of intended return within 7 days from day after receipt and received back to us within a total of 14 days from day of original receipt in as new condition and in the original box and packing are NOT charged any restocking fee, after this time period a restocking and handling fee may apply at our discretion.
WARRANTY RETURNS COSTS.
All warranties are a manufactures warranty and are back to base.
Within the first 28 days from receipt we will pay * for both collection and return postal costs, small items are to be returned via royal mail recorded delivery please keep proof of return in case you need to claim for any loss or damage, for larger goods we will arrange to collect via a courier service but we will not pay any extra packing materials so please keep the original packing where possible, after the first 28 days and the remaining warranty we will only pay to return the repaired or replaced item back to you, it is your the (consumers) responsibility to return the faulty item to us or the manufacture for service (Excludes floor standing jukeboxes, see below) we will still assist in a collection from you of larger goods but this will need to be paid for through paypal or credit card before we will collect unless we agree otherwise.
*Applies to UK MAINLAND only (does not include northern or southern Ireland or any other part of the EU community or international location) also if you purchase an item that's delivered to a UK mainland address and later move taking the said item to an off UK mainland location all warranty returns costs both ways are the purchasers sole responsibility!
FLOOR STANDING JUKEBOXES. All floor standing jukeboxes must be made ready for collection in the original packaging as in the statement above! we will arrange to collect the jukebox via courier at our cost (UK Mainland only) during the full 12 months warranty period, but if the original packing box and all internal packing have been discarded we cannot collect at our cost and you would need to make alternative arrangements to return the jukebox to the manufacture for warranty service and collect the jukebox once repairs are completed or alternatively purchase a NEW box and packing from the manufacture this we can help with and costs around £30.00 plus postage so please keep the box safe.
PLEASE note before: the collection of any floor standing jukebox under warranty from any OFF the uk mainland location including northern Ireland /southern Ireland are the customers sole responsibility, we will assist in the collection and return but all courier costs must be paid for in full before your jukebox is collected!
we do not assist in the collection of any items sent to any other EU or international country, all returns to the UK for what ever reason including warranty service are the consumers responsibility also including the return of the repaired/replaced item back to your location so if your outside the uk mainland more so an EU or international location please bare this in mind before you buy as the contract with us is here in the UK.
PLEASE READ BELOW ALL OFF THE UK MAINLAND SALES this applies to jukebox sales also.
ALL OFF UK MAINLAND SALES WARRANTY RETURNS.
All off the UK mainland sales are still covered under the manufactures warranty BUT the item MUST be returned to us UK mainland and all shipping costs must be met by the customer as we do not cover any shipping costs under the manufactures warranty if delivered off the UK mainland, this includes NORTHERN & SOUTHERN IRELAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS, ISLE OF MAN, ISLE OF WIGHT, SOME SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, ANY OTHER EU COUNTRY, and OUTSIDE THE EU COMMUNITY, we only cover shipping costs for goods sent to UK mainland.
if you purchase an item and have it delivered to a uk mainland address then at a later date move off the uk mainland or send the item yourself to another country (off the uk mainland) the same applies as above!
WARRANTY RETURNS FOR ITEMS COLLECTED IN PERSON FROM OUR PREMISES.
All items collected in person from us ( our premises ) must be returned back to us for any warranty service and collected from us once repaired or replaced by your own transport unless otherwise agreed at time of sale, we do not accept returns for unwanted goods due to not liking the product once you have it at home as this sale would not come under the distance selling act.
ALL SPECIAL ORDERS OF AMERICAN IMPORTS
All special orders or limited editions are FULL & FINAL this means we will NOT accept any returns under the D.S.R 7 day cooling off period unless faulty and under the manufactures warranty to which the item will be repaired or replaced NO refunds given.
REFUNDS FOR FAULTY GOODS.
Should an item you have purchased from Nic-ola Nostalgia fail and need service within the first 6 months of receipt we will offer a repair or replacement where possible or you have the right to a full or partial refund depending on time passed and or weather your claim is for an inherent fault, please note that after 6 months we will offer a repair or replacement where possible but should you request a refund this will be your responsibility to prove the claim as per your consumer statutory rights.
All warranty / faulty return claims will be checked by the manufacture before we will issue any refunds, if the item is not faulty we may return the item to you with NO refund or we may offer a partial refund at our discretion, if the item has been damaged in any way we will return the item to you with NO refund! or if you feel the item was damaged in the return post we will make a claim against the courier company used for return but if the item was insufficiently packed no claim can be made and no refund will be given so please pack very well, also if any items are returned for refunds other than for faulty goods in a used condition we will not offer a refund and return the item to the customer so please look after the product and packing if you intend to return!
your consumer statutory rights are not affected.
